Forcing People Out Their Cars By increasing walking and cycling infrastructure and doubling public transport options, councils are forcing out their cars The stated goal is to increase walking and cycling by 300% and double public transport usage. What if you don’t want to walk or can’t walk or if you’ve got lots of things you want to carry? No answer given!!

3. Impact on Business These policies are having a negative impact on businesses. If people find it too difficult or expensive to drive into the city, they may be less likely to visit, which leads to reduced foot traffic for local businesses.
